    I'm not going, but Summerfest should be awesome. I saw Buddy Guy there a couple years ago, and in the middle of his set an absolutely tanked Kid Rock joins him and raps over 'Hoochie Coochie Man' while Buddy (kinda wasted himself) laughed his ass off. I'm not a Kid Rock fan, but it was a great moment.

    I don't remember there being any problems with smoking, I didn't get patted down on the way in and it was a free for all after that. That's one nice thing about Petty fans - they always have something to smoke.

    But I love hearing that the PJ fans are dwarfing the Petty fans at these shows. I saw Petty with the Black Crowes last year, and it must have been 10:1 Petty people to Crowes people (like me). So Petty's fan base is pretty huge - making it even more impressive that Pearl Jam people are outnumbering them. Milwaukee, you better represent like St. Paul did.

    I'll be there also! Friday only and then back to Chicago for Cubs and Sox on Saturday afternoon. FYI for people who are still looking for hotels, they are available. You'll have to drive a bit out towards the airport, north suburbs and there were a couple downtown as well. Prices were mostly $100+ but if you're sharing with friends shouldn't be too bad. Go to Expedia, they're all on there.

    I'll be there Thursday.....my third Pearl Jam show this tour, which also equals the number of times I've ever seen them.

    I had no idea it would be this addictive.

    Keep bumping this up. Were not the gorge roll call but dam were summerfest and we are next on the tour. Yea short sets, we knew that way b4. The weather is goona be great and such a party its gonna be.

    Can I get cash at the festival, are there ATMs, and can I pay with a credit card?

    Yes, there are Automated Teller Machines located throughout the grounds, sponsored by North Shore Bank. The ATMs accept the following cards: TYME, MasterCard, Cirrus, Visa, Plus, American Express and Discover. You can also use your Visa or MasterCard at all food buildings and bars on the festival grounds.
