Great songs, kce, and my two favorite Doors albums.

Wishing you best of luck with whatever direction you take!

    Yes, MickeyP! =)

I just watched one of those flash mob things, of Ode to Joy.  The beloved piece aside, their faces!  Of the musicians, of those watching.  Utter bliss, some of them.  Hell, I was near tears at the end.  And I kept thinking, if my dad had ever seen something like this, he'd be smiling huge and conducting along with the maestro, as was his way.

Anyway, it was simply beautiful and uplifting.

While listening to Superblood Wolfmoon and only understanding about three words of it so far, I had some personal insight / self-awareness that Pearl Jam is one of the few bands that I've never searched out complete lyrics to their song catalog ... I've just relied on my personal interpretations of each song ... and sometimes when I find out I messed up a word i think, fuck it, i'm keeping it my way =))  Maybe that is why PJ is a band I connect with much more then any other artist.

maybe that is the way Ed wanted it with his cryptic liner notes.  any thoughts?

So..... basically one song and you have me beat for their entire catalogue, except for Jeremy.

Just dropped daughter off at the dojo (1st degree brown belt test this weekend!) and on way back DotC came on radio (I rarely listen to FM) Perfect opportunity for me to give it another chance. Not gonna actually say I like like it, but did listen to the whole song and even turned up the volume a little bit. Hey, it’s a start.

Taking a break from politics and viruses and fear and arguing and anger and...the whole fucking shebang.  The weekend is upon us, and I'm leaving all that shit behind for now.

And hell, I can't not be happy listening to this.

    Go, Satchmo!

And so we ask you please,
Can we help you find the peace and the star?
    Oh my friend,
