Woohoo for the good news, whatever it may be!

Humbling River is among my favorites; the live version with Maynard's son on cello is just gorgeous.

    Puscifer is just gorgeous.

Nice way to start this morning - thank you :)

Ms. Hill = fairly underrated...as Roberta Flack was too.

Of course you know that he's the son of the late great Waylon.  I think he continues to make his daddy proud.

This song from my dear friend Michael Franti goes out in memory of Heather Heyer. May she rest peacefully.....
......Every single soul is poem, written on the back of God's hands.

    https://youtu.be/mtbbuJ6Axgg

    No matter where I roam
Whoa-oh I know every single soul is poem
Written on the back of God's hand

Ya see Moms and Pops be copulatin'
Plantin' seeds and pickin' weeds for another season
Another reason for livin' another reason for givin'
Another reason for lovin' and tryin' stay out of prison
'cause everything in life can't be nice and
Everything you want can't be got
But the lessons on patient be causing the pressure to rise
    And make some people suicidal
Oh no! another soul, has lost control
We pull him back into the fold
He got strung out on the material
All the superficial initials upon his clothes
They make me wanna go Sprewell
Every time I see my family locked in jail
Uh-huh, the economical can be demonical
    Keep love in your soul

    No matter where I roam
Whoa-oh I know every single soul is poem
Written on the back of God's hand

    Peace

Our president needs to reconcile with this nation.

The song.........Never Too Late would be a good start.....

Very nice, g.  I always appreciate the thoughts and energy you give forth.

I have had a somewhat - for lack of a better term - fragile morning.  Driving to work, Oh Susanna courtesy of Mr. Young came on.  My first time hearing it, and boy oh boy did it make me smile.

Sometimes music...and people...come along exactly when needed.

I discovered this song a few days ago.  WOW.  Keep rocking on, Neil.

This guy was the highlight of The Ride Festival for me this year. It's long, but stick it out. I recommend a nice toke to go with it.

Missed this 'till now.  Mean, bad-ass and cool!
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

One of my favorite ever voices and gentle souls, Thirty.

Interesting timing, as I am listening to my beloved 2Cellos practically weeping while they play Benedictus.  Their music is like Mercury's voice.   Just so clean, and honest.  Healing.

    We need more of this.

I feel so badly thinking of Freddie Mercury.

The band has an interesting history. I played them a ton back in the day and I don't play them enough these days. When I posted this... I said I was going to place Night at the Opera in my CD changer (along with Tom Petty Damn the Torpedos).

Exiting gracefully: Talking Heads (Speaking in Tongues) and RHCP (new album). They've both been in there for over a year.
