Definitely will want to know the subway times. I used it after the show in 2012 but had friends who were gouged by a taxi. I have some first timers going with me so would hate for them to miss the last song or two, but don’t want to spend an extra hour and a half getting back to the hotel either waiting for transport if not there right away.

From the research I've been able to conduct, it looks like the last train back is 00:14 from the Ceskomoravska station, but I could've been reading something wrong...would love confirmation from a local either way!

Sounds about right, but there are also trams running from outside the venue as well. Definitely wouldn't recommend taking a taxi in this town unless you can speak Czech. Uber or Taxify are easiest. Or, you can always reference www.dpp.cz
My gut is telling me it will be too close and that I will be watching the time for the whole second half of the show unless there is info out when the show will roughly start. Going off of memory for the spring 2016 NA tour show they started anytime after 8:00 and even as late as 8:40. With a 2 hr 45 minute show on average an 8:00 start would be doable.
The other option is a 2:30am Flixbus but you would get to Krakow at 10:30. I wanted to do Auschwitz on that day and the 00:30 bus would be perfect for that. I know nobody can guarantee when they come on or will finish but is there any info as to when the doors open or maybe what they have done in the past in Prague or even Europe?
Jeff the night bus at 02.25 is the safest option I think. And I imagine we can make Auschwitz too the next day.

Random question about money... Flying in to Prague for the 3 show run... do these 3 cities take Euro? Do I get that at the airport in Prague... seems like Poland has their own currency? Maybe I'll be spending a lot of time trying to exchange $$ :-) ?

Both Prague and Krakow are super touristic so I'm sure you can use euros too. But I suppose it is always better to exchange to local currency, just don't do it at the airports. Local guys any tips?

Not a local, but my general advice would be to use a credit card that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee for larger purchases, and take cash out from an ATM at a reputable bank (not a convenience store or the like) which is where you will get the best exchange rate plus it eliminates the need to travel with a large amount of your home currency.

Uber works in Prague? That's good to know. I hadn't considered that an option.
Given what I've heard about taxis, though, is Uber safe and reliable?
my small self... like a book amongst the many on a shelf

You can use Euro in the Old Town area for the most part but the exchange rate will be garbage. Using cards can also be a bit challenging as anything outside of direct city center prefers cash. So...Czech and Poland have their own currency and Germany is on the Euro. Use a bank ATM and pull cash would be my suggestion.

Thx for the replies about $$$. guess my first stop at the airport is an ATM so I can have money to pay for a cab to hotel... Do these cities accept AmEx or is it mainly VISA/MC?

Folks please don't take a taxi from the airport, seriously. Use Uber or Taxify. Otherwise, you will end up paying minimum 3x normal fare. Prague cab drivers are crooks. It's mainly Visa/MC yes but you'll find some places that accept AmEx.

You can take a bus into town no problem, but you'll need to pay in Czech koruna. Then of course you'll need to transfer into the metro to get to wherever your hotel is. I travel often for work and take Uber every time I get back into Prague.

Thank you. I think I still have some Czech currency somewhere!

Thanks for that advice.
But, i have no clue how to take a Uber.
Probably another dumb question, but do ATM's take personal Bank cards from the USA?(or does my Bank have to have Banks in that location?)
