    So I just got back from seeing this movie with my friend Sam (samjam). Not only did we notice the Pearl Jam references that have already been mentioned, we also were able to experience our own Pearl Jam references. Ok this comes with a back story, so bear with me:
    Sam and I went to Eddie's Beacon Theater shows back in June. The first night, we had the honor of sitting behind Matt Damon. Yes, it was actually him (we kind of have photos to prove it ;) ). So during the movie, every time Matt Damon did something that he did during the Eddie concert, we burst out laughing. For example: clapping, making out with his wife, generally just being present on the screen. When Hunger Strike started playing, we both laughed so hard we started crying. Both Matt Damon at the concert and in the movie were enjoyable experiences.

    Me too but they are not on the Soundtrack CD. :(
    Hopefully Crowe releases The Score CD of the film.

    :o I love it when my fandoms collide! 8-) A kid who plays young Sam Winchester in Supernatural (Colin Ford) is also in this movie, and I'm a huge fan of that show!

    I'd recommend seeing the movie it was a pleasant surprise.

    You have great powers of observation. Finally got around to seeing it and spent a fair bit of time looking for the Backspacer tshirt. Finally spotted it towards the end of the movie, and if you blink you'd miss it. Was anyone else silly enough to sit through all the credits just so they could see McCready's name come up in the songwriting credits? :D
