Perfect Venue for UK Ten Club Show
If Kelly and PJ decide that they can squeeze in a fan club only show in the UK next summer can I recommend the Bournemouth Academy as the perfect venue.

Lovely old Grade II listed art deco building - how housing a 1800 capacity live music venue. It's become a popular warm up/special show venue for bigger acts with QOTSA, Roger Daltrey (warming up his Tommy show) and Sterophonics all playing there in the last six months.
Plus...it's very near to the IOW festival.
Just saying....

You would leave a great deal of 10 Clubbers dissapointed with a 1800 capacity venue...

It's roughly the same size as the Shepherds Bush Empire...

If they gonna do this (which I think they're not), they should find an arena that can hold ALL 10C members that wants to go and fill up the rest with "infidels".Give a monkey a brain and he'll swear he's the center of the Universe...0

GLASTONBURY! Use the festival site, the Pyramid holds 100,000, just have that stage on with stalls in the market place etc. The site is not being used in 2012 for their festival. Everyone could camp the night before and the night the band plays, start the music at 1.30pm and have PJ hitting the stage at 9.30pm playing until about 1am, other bands could include Gutter Twins, Soundgarden, The Horrors and The Hives among others. I'd pay 120 quid for that.Reading England 2006, Manchester England 2009, London England 2010, Manchester 1 2012, EV London 1 20120

I had already posted a similar "if only" post. REM did a five night stint in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin. Check out some images on google. I saw FNM and STP recently and it kicked ass!!!

What about the scala in London...saw the stereophonics there many moons ago ( ) but remember it being small and intimate. Otherwise saw a great gig at Cambridge Junction this summer and that was great too. My personal fave venue is Shepherds Bush empire - always get there early to get a front row seat on the 2nd tier. I would say the Heinekenmusichall in Amsterdam would be perfect for a 10C only gig it holds 5.500 and it's still free the night before the 2 Amsterdam shows :P
well The Paradiso would be awesome as well but that's I think 1500 max :-)0 -
