I was only kidding. I know exactly where it isalthough it doesn't get as much play as it used to

Scrolling though this thread, it seriously baffles me that there are sealed copies of this record a decade later. It's a record that plays music. What's the point of having it if you won't ever listen to it? I've never understood keeping vinyl sealed up. What a waste."Most men lead lives of quiet desperation and go to the grave with the song still in them." - Thoreau

that goes for most oop pj vinyl. some people just see the collectable value in it and keep it minty fresh. to each's own. i dont think it would make anyone who decides to spin it more of a pj fan. i understand both sides of the obsessionit's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...0 -

I understand the collector argument (sort of) and I'm definitely not saying spinning a record makes you more of a fan. I'm just speaking of sealed vinyl in general - any band, any price. It's like saying you bought an Armani suit and a Porche. You never wear the suit or drive the car, but they are nice to possess? I can get behind collecting memorabilia, posters, etc. Those are things that can be displayed. But a sealed record forever masks the actual product - the record, which in the case of a Benny probably sounds awesome. It just defeats the purpose to me. I removed the shrink wrap so the band members could sign the cover, but have never spun the record.

What baffles me even more is that there are people who have one selaed and one opened to playI will probably never come around owning one because of the price. This is why I would love a re-issue. Regular black simple vinyl. For the not-so-wealthy fans who are into spinning the shit out of their vinyl
To all the current owners - you have my envyI hope most of you are actually giving this beauty the treament she deserves and spin it!
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
Just spun record 4 with Black and Crazy Mary....damn it never sounded better!
