It was index cards. I still have most of the package in my desk here at work years later.
    This weekend we rock Portland

2003 was great. Mail in your order and await confirmation in your profile. No hassles. I thought the block system was kind of unfair, but no biggie.

No home town shows, no tiered systems-every member gets an equal chance to get seats for any show.
    Fair as can be.

Just fix the computer and play more shows.

Mainly I was thinking of having a tiered system, where everyone could pick the show they want to attend the most. They could manually allocate tickets based on first preference. Then once everyone has a pair to a show they want to attend to do. They start filling peoples other selections.

I generally think everyone should be able to get a pair of tickets to one show, before people can buy tickets to multiple shows. Especially when TM keeps getting stingier on how many tickets they allow fan clubs to hold back. I think its cool we can buy tickets to multiple shows, but not at the expense of a member not getting to see any shows.

I've been wanting something like this for awhile. Let everyone who wants to see them pick one show. Then once all those tickets are allotted, then the remainder go up for everyone for multiple shows.

Lots of people can't afford the cost or time to go to multiple shows (especially out here in the west were shows are farther apart). So this gives you better chances at getting great fan club seats for the show closest to you or in a city you want to go visit.

If you can go to more shows, more power to you, but you shouldn't expect great 10c seats for every show. Get non 10c seats for multiple shows, or get leftovers if there are any.

Would you rather have a greater chance at 10c seats for one show and general public seats for other shows you want to go to, or a greater chance of missing 10c seats for every show?

i think the other obvious answer here is that the band should just play more shows. and play more sheds. i noticed the 2010 shows in sheds(ampitheaters) had LOWER PRICES(mostly in the lawn) than arena shows. Indianapolis 2010 had tickets as low as $29(before fees) where Chicago 2009 had $75 tickets across the board.
And the Indianpolis show being a shed had more tickets to accomodate fans, thus reducing the secondary market.
