Thanks! This is going to be my first Pearl Jam concert. In January 1991, I moved to Germany from DC. I was miserable and homesick, and the only English TV channels I had were Sky news and MTV Europe, and radio sucked. After seeing Pearl Jam on 120 Minutes in the Fall of '91, I purchased Ten. I bought Temple of the Dog, and the Singles Soundtrack as soon as they hit the record store in Koblenz. That music really kept me afloat during a very lonely time.
When I moved back to DC, I drifted into local music, in terms of concert going, record purchases, etc. Last year I got an iPod, and fell in love again with those albums. I pre-ordered Pearl Jam, and of course, fell in love with the new music. So now, I am going to see Pearl Jam live and the inside of the Verizon center for the first time.
As a long time fan, and a guy with a few shows under my belt, you are in for a treat.
Hopefully, well, it will be... an unforgetable time.
I've never been in the MCI center either... never had a need.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way. Any extra 10c ticket would be very unlikely to be near your other seats.
Been to every DC area show since 1991
I wouldn't want Eddie to have to look out into the audience and not see me
Though I do miss seeing them at Merriwether Post
Not sure how much deeper into the catalog they could dig at this point! You seen the early setlists? Awesome stuff. Is Dunn Loring the closest metro to Alexandria? that seems strange for a city bordering DC to have to go out to the 2nd to the last stop on the Orange line. Oh well! RFD (can't remember the letters) is going to have a pre-concert PJ get together. CCFA. I'll probably stop by, but will be doing most of the pre-part at a bud's in NW DC.
Oh, and I love MPP, the outdoor atmosphere can't be beat! Wish they continued to play there, but that is a hike for me. Nissan was pretty good too. Not sure why they went Verizon Center. No tailgating sucks!
Are you from out of town, or Alexandria? Because, there are Yellow line trains in Alexandria going straight to Gallery Place (Verizon Center). Metroopensdoors.com has a great trip planner on it's site.
Wow, I went to VerizonCenter.com to check to see if they have directions (they do), and there is a Security Alert - One Personal Item per person coming to events! Ah, the joys of living in one of the Ground Zero cities.
Baltimore County +1
