 It's not as bad as it sounds really....easier for multiples with us....and it could be from either solo or partnered....but yeah, those solos totally killed my right elbow.

pjfan31, the injection was fine. Hurt a bit....nothing excruciating or scary. It had local anaesthetic in it. He said it might hurt a bit tomorrow until the steroid kicks in. Had a dull throbbing for a while afterwards. That's it. Really not that bad at all.

Good to hear it wasn't as bad as feared.

Now just be careful. No need to 'test' it just yet!

Just had my follow up meeting with my surgeon. Basically, as he described it, the cortisone speeds the natural healing process and if I'm feeling as well as I am now, which other than the numbness in the tip of my left index finger is 100 times better than when I started this process, I'm basically "cured" and shouldn't need surgery or another injection. So, for me it worked.

    How are you feeling?

    Peace.

Be careful of the cortisone flush...

16% of people get a red face the day after the injection...

Let's just say, after I got it, the figure moved to 17%... It's not too bad, but annoying if you have to go out...

I had an injection about 15 years ago. Been a nuisance ever since. Flared up big time last weekend when golfing. Getting another injection next month. Hoping to still be able to golf on Sunday.

I gotta read through this thread. Seems like a lot of good info here.

Ah, come on. She was good people. I miss all those old heads.

Anyway, should I battle through this tennis elbow for my golf tourney Saturday, ala Tiger in the '08 US Open at Torrey?

Yeah, jagging it 50 times in a month is hilarious.

I had tennis elbow on one side and golf elbow on the other.
Meloxicam big dosage killed it after about 6 weeks

    Good luck, Juggler.
