I have hotel reservations, tix... now just need the flights :D

    Hotel booked.

    Been waiting in the queue since it opened.

    Had about 7 or 8 connection errors.

    I now have a pair of tickets in my cart, but it wont let me process the order for some reason, and it keeps putting me back in the queue!

    I was in and out in 10 minutes with a pair of tickets for Amsterdam. But I paid my dues for 8 hours with Alpine! See you there!!!

    Have my tickets , but don't need a hotel , just 50 km away from the venue.
    You can try to book the Mercure Hotel in Lelystad.
    Its where i live , and as i say 50 km from Amsterdam , and we have a direct train to A'dam.

    Look at the King, that is where I stayed before. It is like a scene right out of European Vacation, but it safe and in an awesome place. It is right behind the Eden American Hotel (a very very nice hotel), but it is less than half the price. If you plan on being in your room a lot and want luxury try the American. If you plan on mostly being out, which I HIGHLY suggest (pun intended) and just want a safe place to crash, shower and whatever... this place is fine.

    You guys are lucky...I was so close I could taste them..not really, but could see them in my cart on two different occasions. Would imagine theres a good chance I'll be there anyway. Me and a special friend or two..

    Anyone know what the deal is with the GA seating? Is there a special 10c GA area or is the floor gonna be one big mosh pit?

    Pretty sure it will be just one big mosh pit. I will probably end up getting seats from ticket brokers,
    that way my joint will not burn anybody. Does anybody know if tourists are banned from coffee shop purchases ?

    We could buy everything just fine when we were last in Amsterdam (2008)...don't know if they've changed the coffeeshop/smoking rules in the meantime.

    I was there in May 2010, no problems then... I know there has been talk of not selling to tourists. I don't know if/when that goes into effect though.
    That would certainly make me re-think things.

    If someone comes up with something post a link please.

    Or better yet, can any of the Amsterdam residents reply to this?
