I gotta say, this album really gets regular play-time for me. It works for many occasions, such as a drive, relaxing, or exercising. I really like "Oh Lord".

I also hear little snippets of songs that remind me of some of these tracks.

Im letting a friend borrow the album today to see what he thinks.

it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...
  • they kicked a ton of ass live, would not complain if they decided to do another run of gigs.

Tres Mts kick ass! Their album has a great mix of soul, rock and blues, one of the best this year!. Seeing them live in Seattle was my first PJ or PJ related concert and Mike and Jeff just tore it up! I hope they release another album....

  • I was slightly dissapointed that they did not pull off a side stage special performance at PJ 20... It would have kicked butt...

The Boston show in March was one of the all time best shows I've ever seen, by any band, any time.

    Please, please tour again.

    LOVE the CD.

I agree that live was when the music really took off. It changed the whole experience of listening to their studio album.

It's weird, I've never listened to them apart from the leadoff single, which I quite enjoyed. I'm a fan of King's X and I enjoy some Pearl Jam every now and then, so I don't know why I've never given Tres Mts a listen yet.

Shame this album is so unappreciated by Pearl Jam fans. Yeah that was one of my favorite shows of 2011. :D

    you have to!
    thing is..like others have said
    the album is good
but its recorded in a way (forget what it's called at the moment)
that might not appeal to everyone
but LIVE they kick it out big time ... ex: Holes in the Road...excellent!
    can't be beat
after seeing them Live the album sounds totally different :)

when they come round again you gotta go
    peace,

That album gets consistently played on my ipod to the point that I hope I don't ever get sick of it. Anyone know if Jeff and Dug ever plan to make a second album?

I think I might have been pissed they didn't do a Toronto show so I never listened to the album out of spite. I found it on Grooveshark so I'm listening now.

Yup, it's in my regular rotation.

Love that there's a song called God Tells Me and also a song called I Smoke on the album (at least with bonus tracks).

Just finished the album, and I gotta say I dig it. It'll take a couple more listens for me to decide whether it's got staying power, but the first impression was quite positive. I'll pick up a physical copy of the album in the new year for sure.

The vinyl is cool with a big yellow note pad with lyrics and such and a 45 with the 2 "She's My New Song" songs on each side. Nice packaging. 8-)
