No London show!

I can't believe Pearl Jam will not play a London show while in Europe. I'm hoping they'll announce one because it's hard to get to Manchester. I will just happen to be in England at the time they are playing (I live in Australia) and I can go up North for the show but it's pretty far from London... What do people reckon - will they announce a London show?!
Pearl Jam: Melbourne 2 March 1998, 5 March 1998; Melbourne 18 February 2003, 19 February 2003, 20 February 2003; London 20 April 2006; Melbourne 13 November 2006; Manchester 20 June 2012.
Eddie Vedder: Melbourne 24 March 2011; 1 April 2011.

Yep! Something in July would be awesome (and announced before 12/13/11 if possible  )

On the national rail site it says it will only take about a 3 hour train ride, so it could be worse! If you can survive a 24 hour flight to London, then 3 hours will be a breeze ;) .

  • They may have to wait for Isle of Wight to sell out or be close to selling out before they can announce a London show. I have nothing to back this up just that sometimes festivals impose certain restrictions on Bands playing/announcing shows in the same country. Then again they have announced Manchester so i'm not sure.

Manchester was great last time - the gig, the after party, meeting people from around the world and it's not far from London. I get the feeling this will be the most popular show on Tuesday so it could get messy getting the TC tickets. Oh well let the battle commence!

How might we see two shows?! You think they'll do a secret one up there? Or do you mean one in London and one in Manchester? I hope, hope, hope they do a secret show. I love it when they do that.

Also, please let me know how the trip can be done in two hours. I'll actually be leaving from Canterbury...

Good point. I will definitely be there, as long as I can get tickets. Do people think it will sell out quickly?

And I've never been to Manchester before so it will be good to check it out. Perhaps some tips for a first trip to Manchester?
