    Real will get mine tomorrow and then watch the firedept truck parade come by the neighboorhood it's become tradition to do it on the same day :)

    when I was a kid...living. As in, it was in a pot and you can only have the tree inside for a week, then have to plant it outside. That house has about 10 christmas trees on the property...huge ass trees now. Can't remember which years which trees were planted, but it's a cool memory.

    now, we don't do anything. :|

    You too? I rarely come across anyone who is also allergic. I spent the first few years of my existence sick as a dog every Christmas. It wasn't until a doctor pointed out I was allergic to the fire retardant they apply to the trees that they figured it was time for a fake one.

    It's my only allergy so I guess I'm lucky!

    Fake. It's a tradition in my family. :) I'm going to decorate it (festoons, fake snow, crib and lights) this Monday. :D No allergies here. I would love to decorate a real one someday.

    Fake and obviously so. :lol: It's essentially a cut-out of a tree, covered in a red, velvety material. It's only very small, maybe the size of my palm. But I think it's pretty. :)

    Maybe one day, when I'm a proper adult, I'll have a (more) real Christmas tree. :lol:

    We used to go out and cut our own. Now I just pull the ficus into the living room and decorate it (the Christmas lights, however, stay on the tree all year round).
