Not kinky stuff, ;) but

The Holidays?

I enjoy december..eating with family and all...but I'm not religious.
I just started decorating, however, because the little lady likes it.
I think i can take part without even being religious.

But I also like the smell of the yummy food, the x-mas tree, and the brief whisps of crisp cool 60 degree weather once in awhile...

But in addition, I am really looking forward to the movie marathon we have planned for the movies "Elf" and "Edward Scissorhands".

Any movies you like during december? (holiday related or not)

Definitely. I'll be in Bergenfield on Christmas Eve for our big family smorgasbord. There will be a whole lot of Glögg and other swedish delicacies, such as meatballs and various pickled fish. You are welcome to swing and sample the deliciouosness. Love me some Christmas Eve in Jersey.

  • Glögg sounds like one of Supermans adversarial enemies.

Interesting though. Glad I asked as I learn more about x-mas traditions. :)

You can find Glogg at any Ikea. Unfortunately it's the non-alcoholic version. To solve that problem I usually dilute it with one bottle of red wine and add some vodka. That should get you in the mood ;)

For me the holidays don't really begin until the Killers release their annual Christmas song. But Eggnog, decorating and watching Christmas specials do help. Once winter break starts all hell is let loose! ;)

that, I have not seen in years. decades maybe. And I saw that it's available on Netflix.

I have been shunning and avoiding all holiday things, just too much, too soon. Maybe this weekend I will start getting into it

I load up the ipod with Christmas music, buy the kids advent calendars (the ones with the chocolate for every day until Christmas), I fill up the wine rack and then the stage is set for putting up the tree, getting out the snowmen and baking. Last night we attended our kid's jazz band and hand bell concert. That really helps with Christmas spirit.
