So let me get this straight. If I'm following someone I see their twats...but the only people who see my twats are people following me? Isn't this kind of unfair?
anybody can see your tweets. unless you have your account on private. If they're not following you it won't show up on their timeline. But if they go to your page they can.
This is fairly confusing I think.
The people you follow you will see their tweets in your timeline. But if you want to see someone else's tweets you're not following you can go to their page and read their tweets. If you want to chat with someone you're following or not. You @theirusername or if they're following you you can send a Direct Message.

on the RIGHT hand side it says "Following" click on it, and it lists who you are following, click the button, and it will change to un-follow....I think...

I still don't get it. My phone never tells me I have a twit and 75% of them that I read I can't understand because of all of the abbreviations. In my head this is what I see when I read a twit:

Follow some better entities then. cnn, daily beast, breakingnews, gizmodo, slashdot. if you have smartphone, install the twitter app and then open it when you want to see your feed. I'll hear any major piece of news earlier on twitter than anywhere else. Its the first thing I open in the morning to see if anyone died, any new wars breaking out, anything crazy happened overnight.
