At a PJ show i think i'll be participating to EVERY song!

And i still think Ed's reaction to being flashed is the funniest thing i've ever seen.

I know during Jeremy when Ed sings “arms raised in a V “I should raise both my arms in a V. Got that one.

I know I need to study up on the lyrics to Daughter and Better Man so I won’t be the only one not singing.

    A List

Study up on the lyrics to Better Man, Black, Daughter and Elderly Women.

Alive: towards the end of the song raise one arm, clinch your fist, thrust it forward to the beat and yell “yeah” with each thrust.

Black: as the song is ending sing the “doo da doo doo da da doo” like the record.

Comatose: doing the cross thing with your arms (at what point?)

Do The Evolution: Ed sings “I sing in the choir” raise your hands and sing the “hallelujah, hallelujah” chorus.

Elderly Women: Ed sings “I just want to scream” we scream “hello.”

Jeremy: Ed sings “lemon yellow sun” raise your arms to form a sun.

Jeremy: Ed sings “arms raised in a V “we raise both arms in a V.

Jeremy: Ed sings” seemed a harmless little” we raise both middle fingers and scream “fuck.”

Who Go: sing the chorus “Why go home?”

    What else am I missing?

    Thanks for your help, edwho

Man, reading this list makes me so excited to see them again LOL. I would add raising your hands during "Wishlist" too, at the "hands upraisied and open..." part. I always do that, and of course yelling "yeah" during Evenflow, although I think that goes without saying LOL. I don't know what to tell ya, it just kinda comes to you when you're there LOL. I love this band :):)

Leave the hatred... On the cross...

He seems to do it on his left hand side (right hand side for the viewers at home), left arm vertical, right hand horizontal.

    To be precise.

Don't forget to reach out and try to grab the band during Breath (figuratively, of course :P). During the "all these reaching hands" line.

If you are serious about crowd participation, raise some middle fingers for every time Ed sings "fuck" or something of the sort (i.e. in Jeremy).

And in "Go" -- "suppose i abused you, just passing it on, go...FUCK..."
And in "Not For You" -- "this is not for you, FUCK YOUUUUUUU"
And in "Why Go" -- "she's been diagnosed, by some stupid FUCK"

I'm sure some others will come to mind.

    This is my favorite!

Also, I've said it before, but I'm imagining a HUGE singalong with Marker in the Sand, so everyone learn their lines- we get the chorus!!!

  • Dont forget to wave during ledbetter. The lights are usually on for this song and ed likes to scope out the crowd.

LOL, this thread is too funny!

Anyway, I think we should get straight on what songs are and aren't appropriate to clap along to. I remember one song in Toronto II when people stared clapping along to a slower song and it really didn't suit it (I forget which song, was it Indifference?)

    My Reference Material

You guys & me. After I see next weeks Chicago concerts I will have seen PJ every year - at least once - since 1992.

I’m using Halifax 2005, HOB 2005 and Kissimmee 2004 bootlegs.

    I’m also using tenclub.net quite a bit.

Are you suggesting something new? Is this done already?
Do you wave during the whole song or just a certain part?

I'm about 80% sure it was indifference, but I'm not positive. Hopefully I'll be able to tell when I get the boot.
