Nice! They played for over 2 hours? Very cool. Damn, Saturday can not get here soon enough!

How was Delta Spirit? I DL their album last night and it's pretty good. Reminds me of Middle Brother

It's the same lead singer so that makes sense :)

this looks like a great setlist. I was hoping for a Steam Engine or Cabra on the West Coast shows last week

show was awesome. Another bucket list band to scratch off. Great setlist too. Crowd was energetic, but in a different way. MMJ gives off a vibe that is just special in it's own way. Band was awesome! I had a chance to see them in 2005, but missed it, cause my friend screwed me over. Those of you going you will have a great time! Band replicates their sound on stage very well. Jim James didn't talk much, but he delivered musically and vocally for sure. Have fun those that are going. It's a great show.

Really, really enjoyed Delta Spirit as well. I'm going to have to check out which albums to get. Think I'll sample some stuff on itunes.

I got there at around 7:05-7:10 and they were already playing so I'm assuming they came on at 7:00...I think they played for around 45 minutes.

    Roger,

The schedule roster on the wall for Houston was:
    doors: 6:30
    Delta- 7:00- 7:45
MMJ- 8:30- 11pm (I think they actually came on stage about 8:15 though).

Delta Spirit was awesome. Been listening to a few tracks I bought,. will be getting both albums soon. Has like a cold war kids/ Harvey Danger feel musically to it. vocally more Harvey Danger though. really like what I've heard! It's always awesome, when you walk out of a show knowing nothing about a band, and get two awesome bands live.
