I saw Delta Spirit open for MMJ in St. Louis. The lead singer was sloppy drunk when they started and they weren't very memorable. There was one song where they played a trash can lid for percussion, maybe they'll do that song when you see them.

never saw them live, but i love delta spirit. phenomenal band if you ask me...definitely check out their albums

Yup! I should've done this..the GA soundcheck party tickets were still available in Dallas for a long time..when I finally decided I wanted one they were gone I always wait until the last minute for things...just got my MMJ ticket a few days ago, as a matter of fact.

All the FL ones are sold out, but here is what it came with:

Great setlist and very cool stuff, Jim on Cobra is some funny shit to watch. Definitely a Great American Band.

It's the same lead singer so that makes sense

this looks like a great setlist. I was hoping for a Steam Engine or Cabra on the West Coast shows last week

show was awesome. Another bucket list band to scratch off. Great setlist too. Crowd was energetic, but in a different way. MMJ gives off a vibe that is just special in it's own way. Band was awesome! I had a chance to see them in 2005, but missed it, cause my friend screwed me over. Those of you going you will have a great time! Band replicates their sound on stage very well. Jim James didn't talk much, but he delivered musically and vocally for sure. Have fun those that are going. It's a great show.

Really, really enjoyed Delta Spirit as well. I'm going to have to check out which albums to get. Think I'll sample some stuff on itunes.
