    Ugh, same. I was sick for a good 3 weeks, felt better, and am now sick again. I blame it on being in NYC last Fri. :x :sick:

    Dejected. Ripped off. Whatever the worst synonym for disappointed is. Jealous. ....... and somehow happy for those who made it to the last 2 shows - and those who will be at the next FIVE.
    You see, I was supposed to be at the last 2 and the next 5. I lined up a sweet 10 club reserved seat for Phoenix and had ticketmasters the next 3. Then came my 3 - 10 club lotto winning shows. But a "clerical" error prevented 2 warrants for charges that were withdrawn to remain outstanding. This led to my entry into the US being denied, even as I stood with the court transcript that proved my innocence in my hands. US Customs could not allow my entry, that would be harboring a wanted man. and yet they needed closure on my file before they could turn me over the RCMP. So they had to deny my entry, which is a very binding or permanent decision. Now I need to seek a pardon (for a crime that was never committed) which is just one step on the path to obtaining a criminal waiver - a process I'm told should take about a year - before I can even board a plane that has a US transfer to somewhere else. I'm out at least $2000, not including time off work with nothing to do, during the coldest stretch of our winter so far. And I can't help but to check out the setlists I should have been witnessing or even relaying to those living vicariously through this board. Seeing them get better and better. And longer. And more special. And I know this will just keep happening, each one better than the last. At first, I'm angered. Then sad. Then jealous. Then a little glad for those who were there. Then I smile, and then laugh. And I say keep it coming boys. Out-do yourselves just a little each show. And then I get excited because I know. I know that after these next 5 shows I will BE THERE to see them in Calgary, and then Vancouver. I will see them. And they will see me. Of this I am sure. Another thing I am sure of is that by the third or forth song in calgary, I will be weeping tears of joy as bad or worse than the first time I saw them.
    So I say keep playing those rarities. Play for 3-1/2hrs. Fuck - make it 4. Because I know you just keep getting better. The whole tour may be a rehearsal for Seatle, but I'll be there for the last 2 rehearsals. So lets do this. The waiting's made me mad!!
