    Sick! Picked up a lovely case of the flu complete with coughing, sore throat and sweats on my trip to Iceland last week. Now I wanna get out on the slopes today and not sure I can make it.

    Iceland is certainly an intriguing place to visit. Not sure early winter was the best choice though. Global warming is definitely taking its toll there and I unfortunately experienced a lot of rainy weather. That weather didn't help my flu and to add stress to it all one of my buses was blown off the road and tipped over in a snowstorm and we were trapped for an hour. I was lucky to see the northern lights and many great waterfalls and ice on black sand beaches. Guess I'll have to go see it in summer next time! Definitely have some things I'd like to do there still. Riding those great little Icelandic horses, scuba diving in the continental rift and having 24 hour daylight on my list next time.

    Iceland is also a place I'd like to visit some day.
