Thanks! Afterwards, I was actually able to find everything I was looking for at Amoeba Hollywood. Should have went there first!joberschlake wrote:kasedoug wrote:Picked up the last copy of Soundgarden they had. Struck out on the Chili Peppers and Cornell.
Hey, the Chris Cornell vinyl is still in stock at amazon for 34.98 with free shipping.0 -
Picked up The Beatles box, The Wall box, and the Cornell record after work today. Gonna try some other places tomorrow to see if I can find The Black Keys single.
Was really tempted by the Lennon and Dylan boxes too, but just couldn't bring myself to drop over $200 at the store today.
Would've liked more full-length releases for Black Friday RSD, but the boxes are pretty cool too...just expensive."In certain trying circumstances...profanity furnishes a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain0 -

Really want that beatles set but 60 bucks for 8 songs ... I know it's awesome but still.... I'm still debating going back tomorrow to get it. Our local record store just latched onto RSD recently so this was the first time I got to participate
I picked up Party Time (Phish), seriously considered, but put back their White Album; Pete Townsend's LP, Silversun Pickup, and after much debate, chose the Grateful Dead Europe 72 vol. 2 over the Pink Floyd set.0 -
Both Phish vinyls and the Grateful Dead Europe 72 Vol 2. It was a good day.Fenway 1 & 2 2016

Nice! I picked that up as well as RHCP, Soundgarden, BB King, and the Hollies...0 -

Anyone else pick up the Soundgarden soundcheck ep? It's colored vinyl and the one I picked up today is orange. Just wondering if they are all the same or if there are different colors out there?

My buddy picked me up an extra Cornell and Black Keys..lemme know if you want to trade0
-
I just an eamil from Amazon US that my order for the Cornell record is on it's way to me in England. Great bit of luck there.
My next mission is the Soundgarden 10".
What's this one like, if anyone has spun it yet?0 -
got the RHCP ... missed out on The Black Keys single, no biggie since I'll get the full length in a little over a week. I did see plenty of the other items like the MIles set and the Lennon set, just too much dinero for me to drop on those since I'm not that big of a fan, plus I spent a shit-ton on other non-RSD albums. If there were no Angels would there be no sin?0
-
Wasn't able to make it out anywhere ...I did however pre-order the Craig Finn - Honolulu Blues 7" from Vintage Vinyl in NJ a couple weeks ago... keeping my fingers crossed on that one.I ain't got no fly'n shoes..0
-
When I went today, my store still had a TON of stuff, just nothing I wanted for the prices. Many copies of the Phish stuff, a few Nirvana boxes, the Wall box, the Beatles box, the Joplin set, a few others. No Songbook though. Unfortunate as that is what I went for.PLAY THE SOUTH0
