    No problemo.
I've used this site many times to download concert footage (Pearl Jam) and other stuff. ;)

There is also something called "Youtube Downloader" not sure if it still works though. Haven't used it in awhile.

I tried the Real Player one because it's free and to post video to facebook it wants permission to all of the info in my Facebook accounts (friends) and permission to post in my name...yeah right.
  • I've used YouTube Downloader with great success. But you do have to keep it updated. If it suddenly stops working, you need to update it.

I use Free YouTube to iPod Converter and their similar products. You can download them to your computer, upload them to your iPhone, download just the audio, etc.

Thing that's frustrating is I can get the video's onto my computer...it's just uploading it to Facebook. There's one video I just want to post so it's there and it won't do it.

Why would you want to download something to your HD from YouTube, then post that to FB? Why can't you just share the YouTube video directly to FB?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you (I suspect I am - my apologies)....but I share PJ videos from YouTube to FB every day (literally) without downloading to my HD. I only use YouTube Downloader when I really love a video and want to keep it in my personal collection on my HD....but that has nothing to do with FB....

I guess I don't know. I'm pretty new to FB and I thought that's the way to do it.

Oh, DS if you're just trying to post a video on FB, just copy the FB link, paste it in your status box and you're done! But if you want to save the videos on your computer, seems like Youtube Downloader is the thing to use for PC: http://download.cnet.com/YouTube-Downlo ... 47340.html

I research EVERYTHING on CNET before I try it out.

    This thread has inspired me.

Theoretically, I could download, say, videos from a certain tour, and make my own DVD, right?

And I've been spending my time reading. Tsk!!

Actually, it's even easier than this to post videos from YouTube onto FB.

When you are on a YouTube Video you want to post to FB, click on the button below the video that says "Share". The link will appear in a box with the 'f' button (Facebook) below it. Click the 'f' button and a FB box will appear with the video showing in it (title, thumbnail, etc). Click 'Share Link" and you are done. It will appear in your FB feed.
  • Stop giving him too many options, making it hard for the guy to decide!
