I knew I should've gone surfing the day of the gig... Mike surfed the break I always surf and I didn't go just to stand in line early. I could've asked him to play Release :(
Anywho, they opened up with Interstellar Overdrive, played Immortality and Indifference and an absolutely rocking version of Porch. All in all, a fantastic setlist and an awesome crowd. Best night of the year, hands down.
Now, with a broken body and an elated soul, I'm going back to bed knowing that a band that has done so much for me has played my hometown and rocked the shit out of more than 40,000 Peruvians who've waited for them for 20 long years.
I really really really really really love you guys. I'm SO happy right now.0 -
