The Price Is Right Conspiracy *Major Headway Made*

For the past few months I have been recording the Price is Right and watch it at night...I know it is what it is. Being home today it finally has clicked. A decent number of the contestants are aspiring musicians or actors. I almost wonder if their publicists arrange for them to be on the show? I know this is weird but during the show I started doing a Google search of the contestants names and I would say about 10% fall into my theory. Today's contestant like this is a guy named Delra Harris.








Does a guy with a charting record album really hang out at game shows? I'll post any future suspects in this thread. This is very alarming. Say it ain't so Drew, say it ain't so.

This was the contestant that got my wheels turning a few months back. Megan Messmer. I even remember the way Drew Carey interacted with her...almost like they new each other. After looking at her website she does comedy improv...just like Drew Carey did. I'm taking this shit public.

My girlfriend's cousin was on the show a year or two ago and he is an "actor" - he's only done a few commericals and had some very minor rolls in TV shows and movies - but your theory may be correct.

That's what I am thinking. I mean if you are an out of work actor living in LA, what are you going to do all day when you aren't waiting tables? Why not go try out for the price is right? I mean you might win cool stuff, plus it gets you on tv where a casting agent might see you, but even if you don't get to contestants row, being in the audience gets you on the CBS lot.

There was a conspiracy stink a year or two ago, but not involving who was in the audience or why. A woman was playing that Plinko game and landed on the $10,000 slot three times in a row. They "fixed" it and made her play again with her only winning $3,000, though they eventually gave her the entire $33,000. The story given by the Price Is Right people was that the machine had been rigged for either a commercial filming or for footage that was going to be in the Price Is Right video game, and they forgot to un-rig it. That's all well and good, and a reasonable explanation, but it proved that the game can, and has been, rigged.
