wow that's awesome! congrats to everyone down there. I wonder why a second show wasn't added like in 2005; any clue how many people were at this show?
    +

My guess is that both venues, 2005 and 2011, can hold the same number of people...

In 2005 both dates were booked beforehad, but the tickets for the second one were available later on, a couple of weeks later, not that they added the second one later. On this ocasion, it seems that all dates were booked beforehand as well, only one for Buenos Aires, however, in 2005 the general admission ticket was 20 USD, and the concert was held in an arena located in downtown Buenos Aires;this time the GA ticket was around 70, and the most expensives tickets almos 150 USD, besides, the arena was located around 50 KM away from downtown Buenos Aires.

A friend of mine bought the cheapest ticket and told me that she was seated far away from the stage, and being shortsighted does not help, but she had fun all the same, however, she wasn't familiar with the city, so she got lost and by the time she arrived at the bus station, all buses had gone, so she arrived home at 6 am.
Many of my friends could not afford the most expensive ticket and didn't want to pay the cheapest one to be that far away; others who like the band didn't go because they were not willing to go to La Plata to see any show of any band...

So, my opinion is that the promoter didn't book another date because he thought it won't profitable, not enough people would pay that amount of money twice. The issue is that the Buenos Aires government prohibited concerts in most soccer arenas, because arenas are within the neighbourhoods, so that's why they are held away from the city now, however, someone paid enough money to run 10 Roger Waters concerts next year at River Plate Stadium, which is located in a residential area and whose neighbours were the first to petition the authorities to ban concerts there... tickets for RW are around a thousand USD, a little more, a little less...
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

I think Youtube will tell you that.
There was so much energy in that place I don't think there's words....

I honestly don't know where to start. I recommend Even Flow, Jeremy, BLACK, betterman and alive from the show...
actually all the songs show what happened, but maybe the end of black is the most appropiate one.

I´ll just frame my poster (it´s a variant, did you know ? 8-) ) and maybe i´ll make a nice print of Jeff´s words separately and paste them around the poster inside the frame...just as a detail.
