My god I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a blunt knife than go to one of these!

i'd go to michigan / osu game any day over a reunion.

i got an invite to a 10 year but didn't go. i suspect i will be tracked down for a twenty year, and i suspect i will stay home.

I didn't go to mine. The people I liked in high school I stayed friends with and stayed in touch. So the only point of going to the reunion would have been to catch up with the people I didn't care about enough to keep in touch with in the first place.

I went to my ten year. Hadn't seen most of them in 10 years, though most of them still live in the same town and hang out together all the time. Got drunk, smoked weed, and made out with my prom date from senior year. It was just like high school. Prom night too.

I'd go back to another if I was around. But since my parents left Ohio, I doubt I'll be around.

...go to the game. That is the game of the year! Go Blue!

I went to my 10 year, but only because my friend was the organizer.

He also organized the 20 year, but R.E.M. was also playing that night, so I did the responsible thing and went to the concert!

I would go. I liked high school and a number of the people I went there with so I wouldn't mind catching up with people beyond what I know about them on facebook.

recently my class had it's 20th high school reunioin. i did not not attend and was not in town. my brother attended the get together in my name. a mutal friend tagged along who is actually in my class. it was a sheer hit and a wonderous, successful evening i am sure of it. we look alike so it was on quite nicely from what i hear. Dung says (what's her name) wants me and that they left the event together to go...

I liked high school quite a bit....WAS a great time. Some of the people I met there have remained friends and we keep in contact. Everyone else is just a memory. That's where I put them. I just passed on going to a reunion of mine...they put a Facebook page together and looking at the page as people were committing to go none of them interested me so I passed.

i've gone to all my reunions but i went to a small school and we were fairly close class although the last one (20) didn't have that big of a turnout

but in your case, go to the game...nothing better than watching michigan kick some buckeye ass :D

Skipped my 10 year. It was at a bar when first planned, and I was gonna casually drop by to see if there was anybody I wanted to bother to say 'hi' to.

Then they changed it to some fancy ritzy place...$100/person dinner thingie.

F*ck that, I don't wanna pay $100 to get tortured by talking to people I don't care about.

I don't have connections to anybody from high school, so I won't be invited to the 20 year. :D

I was in town too, but my class has piggy back reunions on the back of the subsequent graduating class event. So our celebrations were for the 21st reunion, and 11th reunion. What a dork class I must have graduated with.

I actually created a group on facebook for mine with the hopes of doing an informal one, like something in a park so people could bring their kids, but that never materialized due to apathy.

I went to the 10th reluctantly. Mr. Unlost couldn't understand why I wouldn't want to go. Then I went to year 20. Also reluctantly. The people who were obnoxious in high school were obnoxious as middle aged adults. The ones that were nice, were NICE! :)

My 30th was last month. I had no interest in spending a ridiculous amount of money and getting all dressed up to sit around awkwardly and not remember anyone's name. So instead I went to an agility tournament with my friends and we had a blast together!

Maybe I'll consider going to the 40th if they have an entirely casual dress code and allow dogs.

Either that, or I'll crash Poncier's since he's right behind me, class year wise...

As far as the official events go, I went to neither my 10-year nor my 20-year.

Both times, there were "official unofficial" get-togethers at a bar the night before. I did go to those.

i went to my 10 year last thanksgiving. i'm glad i went. i'm also glad i drank with my wife and friends beforehand.
with facebook, it is easy enough to "keep in touch" with just about anybody you'd want to keep in touch with, but it is nice to reunite with people (face to face) you haven't seen since high school.

went to 10yr and it was same ol, same ol'....Went to 15yr and the most amazing transformation happened to the majority of my class....

Of the 300+ in my grad class "1990"...prolly 60+ showed up w/date,wifes, etc etc..so at least 100 was there...
Everyone got completed drunk wasted...it was the coolest sight that i'd been a part of in a very long time...I recall bout 10pm ish looking around the crowd of classmates and every single one of them having the time of their lives...

The jocks were doing shots w/ the stoner's...the schoolies were dancing w/ the skater punks...the tech heads were playing beer games with the ROTC......the gangster's were striking deal's w/ the republican's...its was truely a sight to see....

Every single one of them tossed all that high school clicky bullshit aside and were there "grown up" so to speak, drinking alchohol having the times of thier lives...It was truely remarkable...

these people hated each other in high school and would have never been seen conversing...NEVER NEVER..NO WAY....

So...yes my friends...our world does have some promise....whether it be that my classmates are now parents, the tv they watch at night or just flat out growing up....whatever it is??? They did it and i'm proud to have been a part of it....actually kind of scared to attend another one...fearing...maybe it was the alchohol... :?: ;);)
