mild as in it reminded me a little of a blue moon but i thought it was pretty weak in taste. there just wasn't a lot there. it definintely has a higher alcholol content but it was just lacking in flavor. I don't know, it was just boring.I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0

It was very unadventurous for a DFH beer that's for sure.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

people go a little crazy over the name sometimes. the dvd, now that's a whole nuther ball o' wax.
The difference is that there are a lot of people (including myself) who sort of collect beers. I don't know anyone who does that with backpacks.
You can buy a lot of beer every week, yet you buy a backpack every few years. I get what you're saying though- for those who don't love beer it is sort of weird to get it just for the bottle.
Exactly this. I'm a huge PJ fan, and a huge DFH fan so this is a match made in heaven for me. I guess if somebody is a huge Patagonia fan then the backpack makes sense for them too, but I don't understand the hype behind the backpack. But, I'm sure people also don't understand the hype around the beer either. To each their own.* Cincinnati, OH 8.20.2000 *

Yea craft beer (especially DFH) and music (especially Pearl Jam) are my two biggest non- essential cash items. So this coming out was amazing. I had it on tap but now I need a few bottles too (hopefully a full case).
