I was discussing the movie "Lost Highway" by David Lynch yesterday with Mr. Loulou and how bizarre it was and was curious to see what other movies you folks have watched that have left you scratching your head. I have watched that movie a couple of times now and when it ends I just keep thinking...........nope, don't get it. Enjoyed it but don't get it!

What's the wierdest movie you have seen?

Mulholland Dr. is up there too although I did "get it" in the end.
I haven't seen "Brazil" (Terry Gilliam)in awhile, but I do remember thinking that one was weird.

Some of my faves are Memento, Inception, Donnie Darko, and Shutter Island. Inception's the only one I still can't figure out!

You want to know what makes me scratch my head? Phone Booth. So there's a guy on the phone in a phone booth during the entire movie... :?: :!:

Found this nice little list...I've seen some of these and definitely agree that they're "weird"...but I still really liked them. I might have to add some that I haven't seen to my movie list :)

I watched "Downloading Nancy" last week.

It's not on par with anything David Lynch, but a little odd nonetheless. I had that "haunted" feeling for days.

"Synecdoche, New York" is straight up weird.

if you watch 2010, it will help explain 2001 :ugeek: but even then you probably have to take some time and think about it.

Tideland is by far one of the strangest and most disturbing films I've ever seen...

I couldn't (and still can't) decide if it's groundbreaking or repulsive. Just when you think it can't be pushed any farther...it is. Gilliam is a lunatic.
