Yeah, a lot of sect 115's here. That's where I was, row D. Everyone around me was rocking out bigtime except a couple right in front of me. The girl was sitting down most of the show and they left before it was over. How does a 10clubber leave early from the greatest concert ever???

A couple beside me left half way through ?... Why would they have left so early..awesome show..
I'm thining they were not really fans and maybe won tickets from the radio or something

Where were you sitting? My brother was on the floor, in B, with his wife. He went out for a smoke 50 minutes into PJ (ugh!) and couldn't find his ticket, so they wouldn't let him back in. So they got his wife for him, and they left.

I was in section 124 ..so it wasn't them... Why didn't your brother just smoke in the venue ? everybody was..I was smoking cigarettes and mary jane at my seat..so was everyone..

I have no idea, I asked him the same thing. I think he went out for weed, and was scared of getting caught inside maybe. They saw him go out, plus he had his hand stamped, and they still wouldn't let him back in.

Wierd, my friends were on the flr also. They left the flr, went up the stairs, outside smoked, and came back in no problem. Guess its where you were.
On a side note I ALMOST got caught smoking weed at the bell center. i was drunk and there was NOBODY in the back back back part of the concession area. I was about to lightup when outta nowhere this security guard asks mne and my friend what we were doing. I asked him calmly where the bathroom was, and we were on our way. Boy was that close.

I didn't get bothered once smoking joints in Ottawa..but In Montreal my friend and I got asked 3 times to put out the joint..that's it..and then the fourth time he signaled to us but then gave the gesture with his hand.."ahhh fuck it"..there at a Pearl Jam concert and are gonna smoke anyways..lol..

Maybe they weren't 10CLubbers . . . we had friends who bought tickets like 30 minutes after the doors opened at the venue (there were setats released late I guess) and they were a whole section CLOSER to the stage than us (we were 105 and they were 106). Don't understand. Thought 10C members got the best seats, although maybe the venue holds onto seats and wouldn't let 10C have them?

Either way, why would they leave early with such good seats???

On the flr both nights they were nazis. In Ott they were worse. Even a pinkie to over the line was too much. There was NO WAY you could really smoke on the flr where I was. Sucks too, as I smoke alot and was kinda bummed. I drank a little extra though to try and make it up.

That sucks...I wasn't on the floor for PJ in Ottawa but I was on the floor for Robert Plant a week earlier and smoked a few joints and didn't get hassled..

I couldn't believe when I heard it... I didn't even realize at first, cause I was so emotional about the setlist anyways... And they started I Got Id, and I bursted in tears. Best show ever (at least for me)

were you seated at the front of the stage?? if so, then i saw you! black t-shirt/black hair?

i was the guy the Ed gave the tambourine to side stage seats. He had recognized me from the night before in Montreal, when i had the great fortune to meet him. He was about to throw it into the crowd, but when he saw me, he walked over, climbed to where i was standing, smashed the tambourine over his head, and placed it into my had.

I'll never forget:

1) the look that came over his face when he recognized me, as if I was his longtime pal

2) his eyes while he was smashing the tamb. like he was possessed.


he hit the tamb. so hard on his head, that bits of his hair got pasted to it. So now, sitting in my room is the tamb. Eddie used, along with his DNA!!!

a totally awesome experience for sure!

There are several reasons why I loved the Ottawa show, cheif among them it just *kicked ass*.

I loved every second and I was a lot more relaxed. The weather was horrible and we had a hell of a time getting to the venue
(next to the exsistential anti-feminist), but it was all ok once we got there. We arrived early, got to our seats, ran into a few familiar faces - Woohoo ((cheers!!!)) Mary! - and met some great people.
Once the show started the people up front weren't pushing so much on the rail and it was just great to be there! <<Thank you *so much* 10C!>>
I have to admit I had my most embarassing moment at a Pearl Jam show ever when Mike tossed a pic and it nailed me in the eye. I was grooving, my gaze was engaged elsewhere (bass!) and I didn't see it until the last second. I only had enough time to close my eyes, then *boink!* it hit me. It was a quick recovery. I was more humiliated than anything else - as everyone around me and what seemed like every security guard there asked if I was ok (and then laughed!). The guard in front of me handed me the offending pic and Mike asked if I was ok, appologized and later handed me a setlist (so i'm not complaining!).

But the best part of the night was Don't gimme no Lip. It was so much fun! Stone was bouncing, everyone there was bouncing, it was just GOODTIMES!

Oh and the re-appearance of (World Champion San Antonio SPURS guard & Jeff bff) Brent Barry on the side of the stage. He was there in Montreal too, but at the end of the show in Ottawa, during Mikes YL solo, Jeff went over and there were hi-fives all around.

Kaddi - That is still the best ASK ever! E-V-E-R!!!
