    Ed spoke a lot o portuguese, it was pretty funny

  • Rearviewmirror was played after Betterman, like this:

    23. Black
    24. Betterman
    25. Rearviewmirror
    {Ed talks about being glad to be back in Brazil and that they see more Brazilian flags than any other no matter where they play.}
    26. Rockin' In The Free World-(Young)

    The show was great! I loved to hear the new song live and the old ones keep guaranteeing a great time.

    Comparing to the 2nd São Paulo 2005 show (the only one I went up to now), I thought this show was shorter and that the other one was more intense. However, both shows are between my favourite shows (but, the 2005 show being on the top! hahaha)

    Let's see how they go on the next four shows. This time, I'll go to all of them! \o\\o//o/

    Hi,

    I just got back from the concert...It was pretty much what I expected it to be...Sort of a greatest hits setlist and not so long of a concert....Majority of the time the opening show of a pearl jam tour is sort of a short set....I am sure Fridays set will be a little longer....As far as the show...I thought it was really good...I sort of thought they would be playing a lot of their staple tracks...But, overall it was a really good..The crowd in Sao Paulo blows away any crowds away in the USA...

    Just so you know...we post what we are sent from the crew and occasionally a song is missed or out of order. We know how forgiving you are and we thank you for that and the help you give when you point it out. :)

    You can't go too far wrong with a setlist like this. Really uptempo main set, Ed must be fighting fit after the PJ20 weekend and Canadian shows. Always nice to see Ramones tributes too. Someone said the place looked quite empty? I thought these shows would have at least been close to sell out but I guess times are tough everywhere. Anyway, I wouldn't have a single complaint with this show, will buy the boots from this tour as usual and yes, S. America crowds blow their US neighbours away every time but then again so does Europe! ;)

    If you're replying to the crowds overseas blowing US crowds away... Jeremy is dead on. Have you ever seen/heard a Brazilian crowd at a show? Let's just say they are very gracious, appreciative, and enthusiastic... much more than corpse-fests here. :lol:

    Hi,

    The general admission area looked pretty full last night....But, there wasn´t many fans in the stadium seating area....It is pretty hard to sale out to shows that is so huge...I think the capacity for the stadium is 70,000...I am pretty sure tonight it will be pretty close to being sold out..
