    I'm off from Dec 18-Jan 3rd.

    Mostly we host a lot of people at christmas, but I am treating my wife and kids to a 3 night stay here:

    so ... same as every day ...

    well ... for the last 6 years, a group of us rent a cottage somewhere we think there will be snow ... x-country ski, snowshoe, pond hockey ... combined with loads of food ... video games ... movies ... drinks ... tobogganing ... etc ...

    I have off this week, just hanging around doing not too much. I have off the week between Christmas and New Years too, with no apparent plans

    If you are going to the keys, try the middle keys, like marathon or duck key. Keep in mind-not a lot of beaches-mostly water sports. Key biscayne is nice as its close to Miami and you can get the best of both worlds.

    Every time I take time off around Christmas I get suckered into spending most of that time with my in-laws.

    I'd rather be at work.

    No where for xmas but in Feb i'm headed to Hawaii for 8 days ...On the way there i'm spending three days in San Fran ....

    not at all true. I LOVE Key West and I really dont think any of your descriptions are accurate. Key West thrives off tourism, so I'm not sure how they could hate tourists.

    I have about 5 weeks off near Christmas

    Doing some ice fishing (hopefully) and probably gonna go up to the woods and look for deer and have some good fires
