anybody going anywhere?

i'm trying to figure out where to go or if we should stay home.

what are some of our fav christmas destinations?

    Going skiing in Vermont for the whole week after Christmas. Always a great time, if you ski.

    I dunno, I've never gone on christmas vacation with you guys.

    My wife wants to go visit her relatives in Florida (Fort Myers?). Normally, that would be fine with me, but they're snowbirds who live up here during the spring-summer-fall, so we see them around here all the time anyway.

    cancun..playa de carmen is always nice..used to do that quite a bit around the holidays..Mexico is kind of shady right now though but I havent heard of any issues with cartels in that area.

    I wouldn't go so far as to say they HATE tourists but it's definitely overrated and overpriced. We visited several years ago but only because my husband's family used to live there and wanted to revisit a few spots. I wasn't impressed and have had other friends say the same.

    of to Manchester NH for the week over christmas and back in UK for NY. Hopefully get a couple of days skiing at pats peak. cant afford killington this year :(

    we have an offer to go to the Gf's mother's in Sacremento for the week between Christmas and New Years. not sure what we will do.

    sequins doesn't go well with my coloring and really, who doesn't enjoy fringe! bolo ties are for the summer



    as for my real xmas vaca...probably mammoth...snow, snow and more fucking snow

    lake tahoe is only an hour or so away.

    outside of that scaremento wasn't too memorable. :lol:

    Tahoe, now that's some place I would definitely like to go back to. Loved it there. All I remember about Sacramento was how flat it was. :) But I only really saw the airport and drove to Tahoe from there.

    Tahoe, now that's some place I would definitely like to go back to. Loved it there. All I remember about Sacramento was how flat it was. :) But I only really saw the airport and drove to Tahoe from there.


    we stopped in old town one night. that was pretty weak....hit the mall one day....and drove up to lake tahoe one afternoon

    it was a business trip and i think we were there for 4 days.

    not a top stop to visit

    Hell yeah it is. I went to Hawaii back in 2006 and I've been dying to get back there.

    As far as Christmas vacation this year... nothin', but we are planning on going down to Panama City, Florida next Summer for a week and a half to do some sea fishing and beach living w/ the girlfriends dad, step-mom and brother and sister. Excited about that!

    Oh wait, I might be going to Vegas in mid-December to see X. That's a vacation in itself for me. :thumbup: :lol:
