My office is boring. But we tour customers through here (we make office furn) so it has to be presentable. The bridge on the wall has people in speedos, that's the most interesting part. And out my door I can see trees from the golf course.
the fraud thread called, they are looking for you. :P

Because of my team loyalties?
One guy did give me shit about being a Sox fan while walking by my desk -- some guy I had never even met. I chased him into the kitchen and told him he'd be wise not to run his mouth like that to someone he doesn't know if he wants to avoid a lifetime of beatdowns.
My HR file may have gotten a little thicker, but that fuck ain't here no more -- that's for sure.
I grew up in Sarasota, Florida. We had no professional MLB or NHL teams when I became interested in those sports.
The first time I ever became interested in any sport was the winter of 1980, and it was USA ice hockey in the Winter Olympics; after that, I chose to root for the team with the red, white and blue jersey that came close to matching the jersey of Herb Brooks' Miracle squad. When we got the Lightning, I would go to watch the Rangers play there, and if someone had tickets to a non-Rangers game I would go because I love the sport, and I would usually pull for the Bolts.
A few years later, I played in Little League and my team was the Dodgers, so I liked the Dodgers for the NL and chose the (red, white and blue clad) Red Sox in the AL. I lost in interest in baseball for a long time, most of the '90s -- the whole Bash Brothers, Atlanta Braves, 1994-1995 strike and other spectacles/distractions just didn't do it for me -- but, as fate would have it, I went to grad school in Boston some moons later and lived and worked in that lovely parish for nearly 10 years and got to see the team I rooted for as a kid (and that broke my heart in 1986, "A little roller up along first.... Behind the bag.... It gets through Buckner...."; 1988, at least the Dodgers won the World Series that year; and 1990) in action every summer. And seeing my first MLB game in person at Fenway Park brought me back to sport's traditions, its rituals and it's sublime simplicity. Seeing them fly that 2004 banner in front of the Yankees at Fenway Park on Opening Day in 2005 was the best "sick day" I ever took.
(BTW: The Rays monkey was a gift from my grandmother when they eliminated the Sox from the postseason in 2008. She's a Rays fan and a lovely woman as you can see.)
They moved me to a new desk -- same as the old desk (complete with fraudulent fandom) but closer to windows.
I like your bumper sticker
