    I was gonna try to go to this show seeing as

    A) there new album is probably the most consistently good rock album ive heard from track to track in a long time.

    B) its free and nearby

    C) its on my birthday.


    but in order to have gotten the free tix, you had to go to the city. So i wasnt gonna risk paying a $12 toll to get one of 400 tix when I know how incredibly packed it would be for people doing the same. Then even if I did get free tix, I would have to go back home for class, then drive back and pay another $12 toll. (IM broke) free becomes $24

    I really wish there was a way to get em online.

    American Express® cardmembers can purchase a limited amount of advance tickets for this show starting TODAY, Monday, December 5 from 10AM through Thursday, December 8 at 5PM, before they go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 9 at 10AM.

    There's no mention of whether this an all ages show or not.

    Does anyone know? My nephew saw Arctic Monkeys at Lollapallooza and loved 'em!

    I may have jumped the gun on the MBE giveaway. Listening back to the podcast, they said "We have 5 copies for our members..." Guess I just assumed it would be signed since most of their album giveaways are for signed copies. However, I just got back from the listening party at Fingerprints in Long Beach. They played the LP in store and then had giveaways for everybody that bought the album there. There were only 7 or 8 of us that bought it and I won this lithograph. :D

    it seems to have started, but they have a 1000 person limit on the ticket site so everyone above that is in a virtual waiting room.

    I just want to know the damn cost of admission! The Boston show still isnt on Ticketmaster - which is supposed to go onsale this weekend...WTF is going on?

    Edit: there is a good chance the arctic monkeys are gonna show these guys up. just sayin' 8-)

    Scored LOGE 21 tickets to Boston. Now hopefully it works with my school schedule.

    Figured I would go for Boston because Portland is an all GA show and tickets shouldn't be hard to get.

    With service fees the pair was $112. GA was 59.50 and Seating was 49.50.
