I had less than five minutes with him and it was the best moment I could have imagined...ever. I thanked him for the music and inspiration while he was looking down and signing a few autographs. When I spoke, he looked up at me (standing directly in front of him), thanked me, did a double take look at me, then looked back at the playbill he was finishing writing on. When he finished, he looked back up at me, handed me back my playbill, and told me I was beautiful. No shit!!
My husband will never let me live that one down, and to this day, 3 years later, hates it when I tell that story. (he's jealous it didn't happen to him!)

I would have every intention of saying something very clever and amusing. Say thanks etc. In reality I would say something inappropriate, snort when I laughed, loose control of my mouth and probably fire a little spit at him whilst trying to speak.
In fact it's probably better for both of us that we never meet.

First thank him then probably talk music, particularly The Who, as we both have some deep connections with their music. That would be a dream come true! I hope someday it can happen
