you reaganites have to please remain consistent.

if this happened under obama all of you would be calling for obama's head, instead reagan is praised for allowing gadhafffi to remain in power and kill americans..good decision ronnie...

EDITED to remove unneeded personal attack. Sorry, got the best of me.

Why are you constantly projecting and putting words in other people's mouths?

Just compare Iraq and Libya, 2 horrible dictators are gone in very different ways. One cost the US citizens trillions, the other a billion, one took years, the other took 6 months, one cost thousands of american lives, ther other cost zero, one destroyed our reputation in a region, and the other boosted it.

If Republicans don't want to take a lesson from Obama and his foreign policy when it comes to terrorists, they can go fuck themselves and have no business being in power.
Taking the dictator out is the super easy part.

If we judge the outcome right now, Obama might as well fly out to an aircraft carrier and announce "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED".

Flip-flopping (or as I call it, redefining your opinion based on the latest information and circumstances) is always viewed as a weakness and exploited by political opponents ... which means being closed-minded and stubborn on issues is considered to be a strength.

    That is fucked up.

remember when john kerry was lambasted for being a "flip flopper"? he tried to explain his changing positions like you just did and half of the american people would have none of it.

some people get praised for being stubborn and closed minded and some get chastised for redefining their position. i agree it is pretty messed up. we should want people who are able to adapt their position to this ever changing world.

I always thought that about 'flip flopping'.

Why is it a dirty term? Flip flopping in a lot of cases is a good thing. Time and circumstances change. Maybe new information comes to light.... maybe some trial and error?

It is one thing to adjust your stance on something over 20 years. Quite another after 20 minutes. And, yet another doing it on every topic every 20 minutes.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

i am pretty certain that you are exaggerating if you are referring to kerry...

still no credit being given out by the gop....

i think it is clear whose side they are on, and if they do not see us getting out of iraq as a positive then it goes to show that you really do have a choice come november 2012...
