    DOA - Hardcore 81 (40th Anniversary RE)
Richard Ashcroft - Acoustic Hymns Vol 1
Plant & Krause - Raise the Roof
    Wipers - Youth of America
Amythyst Kiah - Wary + Strange
    King’s X - Please Come Home ….. Mr. Bulbous
Jeff Ament - I Should Be Outside
    Digital Underground - Sex Packets
Charles Mingus - The Black Saint & The Sinner Lady
    Sonny Clark - Cool Struttin

    Honourable mention:
    Quicksand - Distant Populations
REM - New Adventures in HiFi

    Wipers - Youth of America
I really need to take time to track down a copy of this record.  Lesser know but widely influential  Kudos for the pick!

Definitely! Their first three albums are amazing imo.  I’m still looking for the 2014 RE of Is This Real?

From that list I strongly encourage you to have a listen to Amythyst Kiah (if you haven’t already).  Her short set at Ohana made me an instant fan.  That album is mastered by Bob Ludwig and cut by Chris Bellman. She is one of those once in a generation talents like a Tracy Chapman (once again my own opinion).  EV made some great picks for Ohana… she was one of the best.

I will check out Kiah, thanks! And yes, Chapman is great, for sure.

Edit:  Oh man!  Just checked her out here:
Great, strong voice and some nice guitar playing.  Great tip, 1T, thanks!

Glad you liked it!  Her voice on stage blew me away. We were on the rail directly in front of her.
Joe Wong is another act that impressed me at Ohana. He had a wicked drum-off with Matt Cameron. Full string section on stage. He was building confidence in his singing as the set progressed. His album is called Nite Creatures. Suggest listening to some of that one if you have some time brian 👍
