when i still lived with my parents, my dad gave me a choice.... pay rent or fix shit around the house and do yardwork..... i chose the yardwork, i was always fixing up the house anyway
since i moved away, the grass looks like shit and the house is falling apart
that was cool. dad's are somethin else. dad never gave us boys much choice. like your dad, ours made sure we were busy little shits. dad never shoveled snow or stacked much firewood. sure he split firewood until we got old enough to do that...which was according to him, age 3. and if ya think dad was cuttin grass you're crazy.
my dad and conman's dad used to hang out i think

Isn't that why we have children, so we have someone to do all the crappy jobs we don't want to?

yeah when they are teenagers or something. most normal families, the normal parents don't use their children as oxen or mules. when buried in snow i shoveled the driveway & sidewalks, chopped & stacked firewood in 3 different piles, cut grass, hauled gravel in wheel barrels, dug holes, painted the house and garage, washed dishes, and carried water and or melted snow for the water in the snow all before being birthed in '72.
i knew it was going to be a real bastard out there. at 13 weeks i roofed a house. a small house but nonetheless a house...roofed it. 13 weeks old, me.
We currently rent one, but I would never buy a condo.
The owners are voting on a dog weight rule.
Our landlord said he'd vote in our favor, as we have a dog that is over the weight limit... but we're not the only ones
My questions is this: Wwhat's the point of voting on a weight limit? Why not base it off of dog behavior? I've met dogs over 100lbs that are nice as hell and dogs that are under 20 lbs that are mean as shit and would no doubt bite.
