Absolutely killing it on the power play lately!! 7 goals from 7 players vs Toronto the other night, Breadman with the hattie last night! About time they shook the all-star funk off.

Toronto is so bad. Very nice win at the garden last night....Panarin is awesome. What a bush league play by Yandle knocking Panarin down at the end when he put in the empty-netter for the hat trick. Can't believe no one went after him after that nonsense.

Ladd! That was the one guy I really hated to see go after they won the 1st cup of this run. They gave up a lot to get him for what will most likely be a 3 month rental, but I love it. Stan doesn't fuck around.

Yeah I was pretty stoked when I got the notification on my phone last night about Ladd!

An assist in his first game back. Big win against the best team (by record) in the league. I'll take it!

Hawks are really struggling lately. They've been getting blown out a lot....not exactly a good sign. Hopefully they get their shit together here down the stretch and are playing well heading into the playoffs. This seems like a nice time to have 3 days off until they play again on Saturday.

Yeah, seems like we either blow the other team out, or get blown out ourselves (more often than not, lately). And for the most part, it's been against teams we'd potentially see in the playoffs. I know the downturn was well before Crow's injury, but it's quite obvious Darling can't handle starting every day. The rest is much needed. Hopefully they get their shit together in the next 2 weeks.

So am I reading this right?
4 times this year, the Hawks fell behind to Dallas 4-0.
4 times the Hawks gave up 4 unanswered goals to Dallas?

I don't get to see as many games as many of you, but one thing I've really noticed over the last month or so is that it seems like the guys are expecting someone else to make a play. Their skating and puck control have been horrible. Way too much standing around, not making things happen.
  • SPEEDY MCCREADYSPEEDY MCCREADY Posts: 23,805
They have truly looked awful in the month of March.
Such a BIG game last night, and they instantly fall behind 4-0 in the 1st period?

They've also squandered a couple early 1st period 2-0 leads, losing late in the 3rd, OT, or SO.

Man, the Wild own the Hawks. 7 straight wins. And what the hell was Keith thinking last night? He'll definitely be getting a suspension for that shady play.

Yeah, they've been playing like ass lately. I'd be fearful playing ANY team in the playoffs at this point.
What the fuck was Keith doing?!?! I get being frustrated, but wow! As a re-occurring offender, DK could be out a while. This wasn't just a cheap hit...that was about as bad as it gets.

I agree..not a good move. On the flip this gives him some rest. Hopefully suspension doesn't carry into playoffs. To me it looked pretty bad and I hand it to him if I'm commish.. So let's see.

I'm hearing talk of 6+ games.

Wouldn't surprise me. Had a feeling it was going to be 5-10.

Team is already limping into the playoffs and one of our best players goes and does something selfish and stupid like that. I love Keith, but what the fuck?!? And it's not like this is the first time this has happened with him...

I saw the play, he needs a suspension for that so unnecessary. These are the defending Cup champions right but they certainly are not playing like it as the playoffs approaches.

They could easily be swept out of the first round. Easily. They just look so uninspired out there of late.

Brutal way to lose last night with a deflection off of TVR. Still though, they played pretty damn good without their best defender. It's going to be a really tight series. Can definitely see this one going 7.

Yeah, such a disappointing loss, but the Hawks outplayed the Blues pretty much the entire game. Having Keith back will certainly help. This one is going to game 6 or 7 for sure.

Its the worst losing on a dirty goal…..I had a feeling that was going to happen since the Hawks simply could not put the puck in the net w/ all those quality chances….
On the bright side if it does go 6 games I will be on the glass for it…Go Hawks!!!

It's only one game and it hockey the first game doesn't mean that much. Besides I believe it was an away game for the Hawks, which can be made quite easily back in Chicago. The Hawks are doing far better than the Bruins who are on summer vacation already for the second year in a row. :grimacing:

What a game last night! Up 1-0, next thing you know down 3-1. And end up winning 6-3. UC was rocking last night. Hawks are winning game 7.

Yeah, that game was awesome! Can't wait for game 7! Hawks are looking much better and the Blues look a little deflated. Keep it up!!
