    I'm flying in solo from NYC. Would love to meet up with some folks before the show, please post if/when you decide on the details.
    I decided against the GA section, but will have fun taking it all in from "Betterman." 8-)

    In regards to meeting up. Ive spoken to a few people on here, but its starting to get confusing.. Maybe we should all start some little group to email eachother same messages, haha. And those in Alive section, who will be waiting all day can figure out a way to be line buddies...

    my wife and i are coming down from california to the show!!! we're super pumped. we're gonna be in the alive section as well. i don't have our itenerary on hand, but i do know we're staying that night right by the stadium. would love to meet up with anyone at a bar or some place to hang out before or after. it's gonna be a blast. the facebook page was a good idea too.

    if you are looking for a bar to meet up, close to the venue, you can try LA K-BAÑA Classic (they play rock from the 70's and up), Pollo Cervecero... there's also a night club around for those who are travelling solo jaja!!!

    My girlfriend and I are coming in on Saturday and are staying at the barcelo in san Jose.A person who lives down there said people may be in line or camped out already.Anyone want to team up for spots in line since tenclub is not doing anything for early entry for us members.We decided that we are not gona travel all this way and not get up front as much as we can.Locals said you can drink in line and maybe we should have a group get together and take turns in line. Thought it would maybe be a good idea to help us all out for the front GA Alive section .Any feedback or ideas appreciated thanks.

    It sounds like there will be plenty of us near the front of the line. If we stick together and watch out for each other we shouldn't have any problems holding our places. I think I thought about this trip all day today, can not wait to get back to that beautiful country to see the best band on the planet!

    Are you familiar with the other suggestion of La-Kbana? If so and you had to choose which one do you think would be best for a meetup Saturday night?

    that's another good suggestion from my friend Sam. La K-baña usually gets very crowed... i think Mac's should have more room for the meet up.

    tenclubbers from C.R. will have a meet up on Nov 5...maybe some of us could join you guys the night before if you're OK with it..!

    Hell yeah we want you locals to come out so spread the word. Since mac's might have some more room I think that might be the best option so far unless anyone has another suggestion.

    If what you want is a bar near the stadium, the closest is Mac´s, it's a sportsbar. You could also go to Escazu, which is about 15 minutes by car, there´s Plaza Itskatzú , where you can find a Hooters, another bar La KBaña (the same as recommended Glenn but in another location, this one doesn´t get so crowded) and restaurants of all kinds. It depends on what you´re looking for, in CR we have bars EVERYWHERE! haha

    Close to the stadium would be a plus but a taxi is like 5 bucks so it doesn't really matter. I think somewhere that has drinks, maybe some food and music but is not jam packed or so loud that we can't strike up a conversation. You can strike hooters off the list possibilities or any other American chain restaurants. Thanks for the help.

    We're coming from NYC for the show - it's our 30th PJ show and we've never looked so forward to one before. Although we do have a big big soft spot for Montreal shows...just something about the fans, the band and that city.

    Sounds like Saturday night is falling into place - how about Sunday though, before the show? <not to confuse things> :roll:

    Hey team- tried starting a get together thread on the porch but no luck. Costa rica will be my 38th show and my girlfriends 3rd and were are super excited. Staying at the Barcelona de Palma hotel near the venue but have no plans for sat night. Monday we booked a day tour of volcano and waterfalls and coffee plantation if any one wants info on that let me know, would be cool to do it with some other fans. Count her and I in for Saturday night!
