  • As long as we get one more Tool album, then I'm cool with it. It's pretty obvious that he's not that into it anymore, but I would just like to know going into it that it's the last one. But, if it's not I think 10,000 Days was a damn great album and if that's their swan song then so be it.

Digging this way more than the first record. Way more. Just picked up tickets for the Boston show and feeling really good about it.

Good choice. The album is more serious and mature. The other one was silly but I still loved it.

He loves being front and center with these guys, contrary to Tool. And yes, I know he stands in back during Tool shows because it's all about the musicians and music, and scenery with them, but damn, the Puscifer musicians and music are / is pretty damn good, too. This album is definitely more serious and musical than the 1st. Good stuff on Letterman:

Yeah that was a great performance. I also posted that video... He stands in back for APC as well. Maybe he does this as a way of saying, "I'm NOT Tool, I'm NOT APC, but I AM Puscifer." Who knows... The man is a mystery to me. He is one of my Heroes that I would never want to meet.

Nope :-( The closest stop to me is a 4 hour drive away. I just can't afford a rock n roll road trip right now.

Just now listening to the album in FLAC. Really, really good. More like APC than old Puscifer, if you ask me. Anyways, it's great - "Telling Ghosts" is amazing.

As far as Tool - they're par for the course on releasing albums every 5 years or so. They're due for one next year, and Adam and Danny are writing music as we speak. Tool is all of the members' moneymaker - and honestly, they all love that type of music, let alone playing it. They'll be releasing albums for another decade or so - 2 or 3 more at the most. Maynard's vineyard doesn't make him much dough.

How do you know any of that? Maynard is a Multimillionaire and I doubt he's making wine for the money.

Everyone knows that multi-millionaires eventually run out of money if they don't work or put the money to work. Putting out albums every 5 years and touring once in a while is easy, huge money for Tool. Of course he's not making wine for the money. I see them releasing 2 or 3 more albums - huge, rocking albums - at the most so they can get the most bang for their buck. Honestly, can you see them rocking out to Rosetta Stoned on stage when they're in their 60's? They're in their mid 40's x 1 album every 5 years = 60+ years old. No way Tool rocks out at that age. The next albums they release will be their retirement funds.

Alright. I have to disagree and say the next TOOL album will be the last. A Perfect Circle will fund Puscifer and the Wine.

Finally listened to this since so many here were saying it was a departure from the earlier stuff. I have to say wow, this is actually real music as opposed to the silliness that the other stuff was. It's a little slow at times but I was pleasantly surprised.

Yep it's pretty mature. I liked all the immature stuff too though.
