you are corrected sir. there has only been one song cowritten with an "outsider" on any of their albums, that being Army Reserve YUCK!!!!!! YUCK even mentioning the name of the song makes me vomit horrendously

Can't believe you dont like Army Reserve! What the hell's wrong with that song? I love it, one of my favourite's off the Avocado!

sorry. i seriously thought you were fucking with us.

to your question, no, here No Code is the the old testament and Yield is the new testament of the PJ bible ! lol

those seem to be the two albums that EVERYONE loves.

its everything that came out after Yield that is up for debate.

i love NC and Yield, but as it stands right now Avacado is what i listen to the most. i think someday it will be held in the same regards as NC and Yield. but i could be wrong ;)

    anyway, welcome to the board.

    have fun.

Hey, I like your post - NC being Old Testament and Yield the new, love it! I listen to Avocado the most nowadays, but I love the old and new too. All fantastic albums, PJ hasn't come up with a bad one yet and they never will...

I also lost track of pj when no code came out. Pearl Jam was no longer the Pearl Jam I had grown to love. I remember blaming Neil Young:)

Years passed and I didn't think much about the band until I picked up Live on two legs. That was my ticket back into Pearl Jam.

No Code was something the pj crowd wasn't ready for and it chased millions of fans away. The rest became disciples!

But things have changed in the years since. Our quiet lil secret has grown and I see the fan base has significantly grown in the years since Vitalogy even. Vitalogy was the set up jab for No Code's uppercut to the casual PJ fan, and today there are more and more disciples and WAY less casual fans something that makes PJ that much more special in my heart.

I'd love it a whole lot more if Who You Are wasn't on there! Just can't listen to that song! Think Eddie's trying too hard with the lyrics. Bit cheesy.
Also, sorry Stone, but Mankind! Not doing it for me.

Other than that, it fucking rocks. Hail, Hail, Lukin, Habit, Red Moquito, In My Tree......

    Awesome album.
