Anyone have the version where Eddie starts with -

...rests her head on a pillow made of Tampax....

The whole first verse is basically changed from a he to a she and what that line above might entail. I don't do the gremmie.net stuff and the like, so I'm sure it's probably there. If so, what show is this from? It's definitely an early show, say like '93 (could be '92 or '94, but based on the info I have I'd guess it's '93).

Another question - there's also a version of Jeremy where Eddie's talking to the crowd and telling them to "keep him up, boys" obviously talking to a crowd surfer and then tells them to be careful and he's keeping an eye on them. He's doing this in between singing. That is, he's saying a sentence to the crowd and "rushing" into or out of a line of the song.

Same era, but pretty sure different show. Name that show...

I don't know the answer to either of these, so you're welcome to make up your own answer. I'll have no way of verifying. Just hoping someone can locate the shows for me. Thanks.

I had this on tape back in the 90's. Its from an England show I think. I wonder if The Robb can dig it up? Maybe PM him as he's pretty good remembering little things like this and recalling details

Thank goodness for our friends at TFT and credit to 5 Horizons as well:

06/06/92 – Finsbury Park Festival: London, England [60m]
support act: Red Kross, L7, Therapy
    supporting: The Cult
set: Wash, Once, Why Go, Jeremy, Deep, Alive, Black, State of Love and Trust, Even Flow, Porch
enc: Rockin’ in the Free World
notes: Amazing version of ‘Black.’ ‘Even Flow’ is dedicated to Dee from L7 as she “… hasn’t had her period for nearly two months.” Lyrics are modified to “… pillows made of Tampax.” Ed encourages the crowd to tape shows. Hopping into the crowd during ‘Porch,’ Ed barely makes it back to the stage as security mistakes him for a stagediver.

Thank you. I am wondering if this is the Jeremy answer as well. Not quite as clear from this, but maybe. Thanks, again for helping a lazy person out.

Holy shit! I was going to post something about this. I've been trying to figure out where this was from as well. Every time I hear an old bootleg of EF on PJ radio, I'm always hoping to hear the "pillow made of Tampax" line.

Another one I'm wondering about is in "Alive" where Ed says "What you thought was your daddy was nothing but a wanker." Maybe he did it many times, but I've only heard it the one time and again, it's something I always listen for on the PJ radio boots.

I have this on cd as an import bootleg I bought in the early 90's. Havne't listened to it in forever but I believe he dedicates the song to one of the members of L7. I'll have to dig it up.

Yeah. Same thing. Might be from same show. Maybe, we should ask PJ Radio to play the 6/6/92 show for everyone today....

It was at the 1992 Roskilde Festival when Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder found himself suddenly performing a tightrope act, struggling to keep a balance between normality and insanity....

.....Its going to be a long, hard battle, lets hope Pearl Jam, as a unit, are strong enough to survive it.

    Professor Stone; 12.'93.

Who could that be? Can we tell 1993 Professor Stone that everything will be ok?
