    For Eddie's concert in NY ( august 4th) around 6:30 pm I was in the first row in the lower balcony trying to hang my "Chile" flag (my country) and all of the sudden I look down and I see Eddie ( that's what I thought xD) with a white shirt. So I was in shock. I started moving my flag so that he would see it...he did! and he made a "cheers" with his beer and smiled at me. I was so happy and I remember thinking how crazy were all the people on the 1rst floor that didn't aproach him...So I decided to go downstairs ( my heart was beating really fast and my mind was going crazy trying to put the words together). By the time I got there I see his back :O...I pass him, then turned around...and it wasn't him!!!!...SO dissapointing and embarrassing!...but I swear he looked exactly like Eddie from the second floor :P

    Others have talked about meeting other bands, so I can too

    In 2006 Drive By Truckers were playing at a small festival. After their set I grabbed my girlfriend and buddy and we went over by their bus. We talked with Shonna and Jason for a while and they were really nice. My wife told Shonna how awesome they played and Shonna seemed really grateful that we even noticed her. Didnt get to meet Patterson or EZB.

    Funniest thing was Cooley, pretty drunk, leaning up against the bus asking my girlfriend what year she was born, just out of the blue. She said '82 and in his unique voice he said "thats the year I got my drivers license". I asked him about his guitar and he told me it was a "custom thang". You had to be there.....
    I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.
