At $24.99 for a 12 year old bourbon, good stuff!

had to go look up my review....had it...not a top 3, but i wouldn't kick it out of bed. i forget why.

i think binny's was sampling the 18 year. i do recall trying it, and not being impressed, but it's tough to get a read on a bourbon after just one sip in a liquor store. need to be able to sit down and experience it

I agree, decent bourbon at reasonable price. Do you do your reviews online??? Something like Beer Advocate?

Ahh the Van Winkle. Once had a chance to get some of the 20 myself in a restaurant but it was $30 so I passed. Next time I went back they didn't have any. Definitely diving in the next time I see it.

    Worth it

i'm sure it is....but i struggle with the cheapness inside. 35 for one pour, or 4-5 times that for 10-15 pours.

Maker's Mark- love it on the rocks or julep style in the summer. I don't frown on my jim beam (though it is often too sweet for me) and though that bottle of Jefferson recently posted looked divine...I might pass it up for a a nice whiskey... :) Back to my spot in the shadows now :silent:
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.
