why doesn't this person just go away?

she has way too much baggage that would divert from her message, whatever it is this month...
hey give me baggage! give me real people! give me chubby less than perfect!
    hell give me a whore!!!

if people can't see through the diversion people can't see at all
sarah palin is no more relevant than kate plus 8.

she would be a terrible president.

have we seen a good one lately? I can't remember when

maybe less terrible / more terrible would be the way to put it

Palin is nice to look at I'm afraid that is about it for the office lately
that and a good speech and perhaps one who doesn't look like
she/ he will croak from the stress and diversion ;)

i saw a poll on the cbs news today that says only 24% of likely republican voters want her to enter the race and 76% dont...

with poll numbers like that she would embarrass herself if she entered and had a poor showing in debates or in the early primaries. for her to enter the race now would be political suicide..

not to mention she would have to give up her position on fox news if she chose to run, and i can't see her doing that...

exactly. this isn't about running. this is about staying relevant through the election far enough to sell some sort of book...I truly believe she has very little interest in actually working in government again. She basically said as much in her incoherent interview with Greta Van Susteren.
I don't think any reasonable conservative or republican would even think of supporting this woman. I think I would rather vote for a new flavor of mountain dew.

I'm pretty sure she'll wait until 2016 to make a run at the presidency....they'll be a better chance to place more of the country's possible demise on a re-elected president. Also any or most or her afflictions at the moment MAY be forgotten by then but then again by that time she may bring more of those afflictions to the table. ;)

That's a pretty terrible plan if that's what she's doing. Chris Christie is the 2016 nominee if he doesn't run this time and Obama gets re-elected. If the Republicans win, there's no 2016 spot for Palin (or Christie). What you describe may be why Christie is not running this time.

I'm in agreement with the sentiment that she has no intention of running. It's far more lucrative not to and far less stressful.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.

do you see what she did?

she just made herself way more relevant becaue she has a ton of money in her PAC. she said she wants to help someone defeat obama, and any prospective gop candidate is going to have to kiss her ass to get a slice of that money pie...

she has made herself a behind-the-scenes player and she is going to influence this race without having to be the one out there on the campaign trail, so there is no personal risk to herself or her family... so potentially this is still "going to get good"..

it was the smart move on her part..

did you just call her smart ;)

I still like her better than any of the other ladies
    always felt she's got moxy
but any female in the office must have great voice, literally, not one that could make
a person cringe.... I predict an alto to appear on the horizon.

I give the American people a little more credit than that... It's the words that are spoken, rather than the tone of the voice that matters.

no, i did not call her smart.

people with an iq of 48 can make a smart choice. they choose on instinct, which is what she did here. she wants that power so bad she can taste it, but she knows she would crash and burn and embarrass herself and her family in a full campaign and election. self preservation is an instict that sometimes squashes all other instincts. especially in politics.

  • If Palin, or any of these other morons, takes over the Oval Office, I might have to pack it up and call it a day here in the good ol' US of A. In fact, I might do the same if Obama gets reelected.

This country -- as I've said before -- is royally screwed.

Maybe another war will help Americans feel better about themselves? It seems that dropping bombs on brown-skinned people overseas is American government's usual solution to all of it's problems.

Also, the U.S arms industry is what keeps America afloat. War and terror is America's main export.
