    Yeah the boxes are definitely making my eyes spaz out, just like your thing tremors. but I found just now, after I'd posted in the other thread about the squares the icon for that thread went back to usual.

    I never said anything about circles or squares, all I wanted was an Excel spreadsheet background and no giant PEARL JAM text across the top of the screen every time I open the forum, post a reply, or surf a thread!

    I recommend a heuristic review to test the redesign with users who can determine whether the principles of web design were adhered to or shockingly violated.

    Either that, or we could all just get used to it.

    Besides, if consulted, I would never have come up with something as blase as circles or squares. I would have gone with pentagons and heptagons. Or, for locked threads: Parallelograms. Nothing says security like a parallelogram.

    Oh, and as for the Unlost / Stone haircut similarities...
