    Is this the current hockey thread? Wow, totally missed the Dryden news. Now sad.

    on a happy note, this defenseman Schaefer on the Isles is next level. Forget the Calder, he could compete for the Norris.

    feels like watching a science fiction movie watching how good he handles….everything.

     Could be their best draft pick since Bossy.

    Jets break 10 game losing skid. JFC. It's hard enough getting cheap winnipeggers to spend the money on going to these games, they are now in desperation mode. I got a call from their office asking if there was anything they could offer me to get me to buy tickets.

    Couple other blowout games yesterday as well. Flyers got destroyed and Vancouver got shutout like 5-0

    That’s really surprising. I thought they had good attendance.

    Until proven otherwise, the Rangers are done for the season. I didn't expect them to make the playoffs this season going in and once they started struggling at home, I knew where it's headed.

    Other than the Lightning and Hurricanes, the Eastern conference has turned over.

    That was what I thought too.  Get calls from Flyers and Union reps occasionally and sometimes get crazy deals based on comments made.

    it's a small barn (13,000+), and their business model seems to have been based on it being sold out every single game. And it was, for the first 5-7 years. Then it started to wane. It's still nearly full, but they need it to be full. I was considering going to the game Friday (where they finally won), and the amount of resellers on there was staggering. People dumping tickets left and right. 
    Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer
