    Absolutely.

F the Bruins front office. Marchand & Frederic were the only two players worth watching this year. I don’t begrudge the Frederic trade, but Marchand should have worn the spoken B for life.

    Kind of a lackluster deadline.

    Are you Caps?

I feel like they are probably the 3rd or 4th best on the conference.

Pens, which is why I still cheer for Guentzel. Caps are looking dangerous though.

nah.  Im rooting for a 100% tkachuk to come back and beat the Leafs or Habs in the playoffs to show how much of a circus this circumvention issue is and it becomes a front-and-center issue as Canadian fans and hockey media won't drop it.
There’s never a good reason to root fit the Panthers (unless they are playing the Bruins).
even that reason is moot, now.
If I had known then what I know now...

Truth. I don’t mind Pasternak or Mccavoy.

Matthew Tkachuk thinks the Four Nations final was rigged. What a douche. Haha

    https://autulu.com/nunu/nhl-star-matthew-tkachuk-refuses-to-acknowledge-canadas-victory-in-the-4-nations-final-during-his-appearance-on-the-tonight-show-with-jimmy-fallon/#google_vignette

    “Canada Got the Special Whistle”

During the Tonight Show interview, Jimmy Fallon asked Tkachuk about the intense rivalry between Team Canada and the U.S. in the 4 Nations Final, a series that culminated in a dramatic showdown. Tkachuk, who is known for his candid and sometimes controversial statements, didn’t hold back when addressing the result.

“Well, we didn’t lose to Canada, we lost to the refs,” Tkachuk said, with a hint of frustration in his voice. “Canada definitely got the special whistle in that game.” Fallon, amused but intrigued, probed further, asking Tkachuk to elaborate on what he meant by “the special whistle.”

Tkachuk explained that several key moments in the game were influenced by questionable calls that he believed disproportionately favored Canada. While he acknowledged the talent of the Canadian team, he made it clear that the refereeing decisions had a significant impact on the outcome. “It wasn’t the game we were playing,” Tkachuk added. “It was the calls that were made—and not made—that decided the final result.”

With the Jets history of high expectations/low performance in the playoffs, I do agree with that. But I was happy with what they showed last night.

Jets are solid, I hope they go deep. Canada’s best chance by far this year. I think all the guys want to be there and they moved on from the guys that did not want to be there. The west has some depth though, Stars, Avs, Knights

Had high hopes. But the Jets just can’t seem to crack the codes of some teams.

My new prediction is they get swept in the 2nd round, or in 6 games in the first round, depending who they play.

I don't understand.  They have 106 points.  Why are you down on them?  Great goaltending is number one priority in playoffs and yo have that.  And you've scored the most goals in the West.

The only risk I see is winning the President's, which is a curse.

    a) like I mentioned, we can't crack the codes of certain teams. The Kings swept the season series. Quite easily.
    b) add to that our track record in the playoffs even with a good season. Sure, different coach, some different players. I don't know man. Maybe I'm just more cautious in my hopes as it draws nearer.

Edit to add: and people who know WAY more about hockey than I do don't give them much of a chance at a serious run.

IT sounds like you are in protection mode.  Hope for the best, expect the worst.
